Those interceptors were sent over the Atlantic ocean and ended up further away from the site than where they initially took off. I've only heard about the "stand-down" thing and but haven't really looked into it. You can have this point. Personally I think the pre-knowledge of collapse is a point for those cynical of the official story. Before 9/11, no steel building have ever been brought down even by much more intense and longer lasting fires. There's the heavily disputed argument that jet fuel can compromise steel, but WTC7 was not hit by a plane. There's no way regular fires could have brought the entire building down symmetrically at free fall speed. I encourage you to watch the "Architects and Engineers" documentary and listen to the Kevin McPadden interview.
